Mark Dawson
Chief Financial Officer

Mark joined Development West Coast in 2004. He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants amd Institiute of Directors. He has over 20 years of accounting experience.

Jessica Burns
Accountant

Jess joined Development West Coast in June 2007. Previous employment includes over five years in corporate finance and administration roles. She has completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in professional accounting, at Queensland University of Technology and currently holds associate Certified Practicing Accountant status.

Julie Key
Accounts Officer

Julie joined Development West Coast in 2006. She has 20 years experience in accounts administration.

2. Regional Development

Warren Gilbertson
Regional Development Manager

Warren joined Development West Coast in October 2005. He has worked in banking roles in New Zealand and London before returning to New Zealand to work in mostly finance-related positions and in the public sector with CCMAU (a dvision of Treasury), New Zealand Post and, most recently, with Housing New Zealand Corporation.

Peter Walls
Projects Manager

Peter joined Development West Coast in 2005. Before this he worked in local government where his main roles included the development and management of leisure facilities, community funding and major event assessments.

Helen Wilson

Regional Development

Helen joined Development West Coast in August 2006.  Previous employment includes university research, 18 years secondary teaching and a recent spell tour guiding and driving for a local company.  She has lived on the West Coast for 26 years and has been an active member of several community organisations.

Kelly Balloch

Kelly joined Development West Coast in November 2007. She has previously worked in the Local Authority sector.

Nicole Robinson

Nicole has had 17 years experience in the banking industry, having immigrated from Wales with her family in 2006.

4. Education

Nicky Cooper
Education Projects Manager

Nicky is a West Coaster and joined Development West Coast in July 2006.  She has gained extensive experience during the past 15 years within the education sector and has taught within a variety of school settings. Nicky is passionate about education and its long term benefits for Coast students.

Julie Kissell
Education Relationship Coordinator/Administrator

Julie is a fifth-generation West Coaster with 15-years experience in administration, most recently with the District Health Board.  She joined Development West Coast in 2005.

5. Regional Investment

Conrad Anderson
Relationship Manager

Conrad joined Development West Coast in 2002. His work experience includes the banking and service industries and financial services.

Rachel Malcolm
Business Analyst

Rachel joined Development West Coast in January 2008. Her previous employment includes banking and other financial services roles.

6. Administration

Jo Butcher
Personal Assistant to CEO

Jo joined Development West Coast in September 2006.  Jo has previously worked in the Health and Local Authority sectors, mainly in administration roles.

Belinda Lunn
Executive Assistant

Belinda has been with Development West Coast since May 2002.  Belinda’s prior experience is in Local Authority. She is currently pursuing her NZ Diploma in Business.

Gemma Schuddeboom
Receptionist/Clerical Assistant

Gemma started working at the Trust in January 2008 as a fresh school leaver and is a born and bred West Coaster.
