Punakaiki’s Pancake Rocks are one of the Region’s iconic visitor attractions.  The attraction has high visitor numbers who typically stay for a very quick walk and possibly a snack.  The Issues & Options report outlines how the local community sees the current situation and explores some of the key issues that confront this ecologically sensitive area.

The next step is to develop a Destination Management Plan (DMP) with wider input from the community and key stakeholders.
