Ornithology / Bird Watching

This project is about building a collaborative marketing presence around the cluster of Tourist operators based just north of the Glacier Region that specialise in bird watching or birding tours. On a regional basis there are a number of opportunities which are to be identified on the Regional birding website and linked to New Zealand Birding website and to New Zealand and overseas operators. The aim is to create information on all birding opportunities for visiting birding groups and individuals that will increase visitor numbers, make existing businesses more profitable and identify opportunities for future birding business development.
