As at 30 June 2009 Development West Coast had available funds of $9million.

Development West Coast has funds available for investment into projects, business and organisations in the West Coast region.

Development West Coast can offer 3 investment options: Loans, Equity Options and Guarantees.

To be successful for funding, applications must at a minimum:

Promote sustainable employment opportunities in the Region
Generate sustainable economic benefits for the Region

Lending

Development West Coast can offer loans with flexibility and competitive terms. Development West Coast has made loans ranging in size from several thousands to several million dollars.

Equity

Development West Coast can take an ownership share in an applicants business. Investments can be structured in a number of ways including direct equity, convertible notes and options.

Process

Applicants are encouraged to submit an initial letter of intent to Development West Coast to enable staff to provide initial feedback as to the fit with Development West Coast.
